Startups & Early-Stage Ventures

Startups & Early-Stage Ventures

As an entrepreneur and advocate for business-driven change, I’ve dedicated much of my career to supporting startups and early-stage ventures — particularly those founded by individuals from underrepresented or marginalized backgrounds.

I founded Bright Ideas Trust, a social enterprise created to help aspiring entrepreneurs turn their ideas into sustainable businesses. My mission has always been to empower people through entrepreneurship, providing guidance, mentorship, and access to practical resources.

I’m a firm believer in education as a driver of social mobility, which is why I’ve also championed apprenticeships and supported initiatives that promote vocational learning for young people.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of speaking at conferences and events across the globe, sharing insights on entrepreneurship, leadership, and business growth. Through these experiences, I aim to inspire the next generation of change-makers and help foster more inclusive and innovative business communities.

My work extends into advising organizations on diversity and inclusion, ensuring that talented individuals from all walks of life have the opportunity to succeed.

Co-authoring What’s Your Bright Idea? allowed me to further share my approach to turning ambition into action — a guide for anyone looking to make their mark in business.

Being part of The Apprentice was just the beginning. Since then, I’ve continued to champion entrepreneurship as a force for good — and I remain committed to helping early-stage ventures grow, adapt, and thrive.
